Courtyard Home - This style of home is typically defined as a single-family patio home product, but can also be a multi-family (attached) product. The distinction of the Courtyard home is the private nature of the entry that is encompassed in a gated, enclosed courtyard. The larger single-family courtyard product may have an attached guest suite inherent in its design. The courtyard home is typically owned as a condominium and developed as a "maintenance-free" housing option. That said, the courtyard design has become increasingly popular at the high end of the market and can also be found under the "villa" category.
